Prof. Einat Shalom Paz, MD 1: The Science of Menstrual Period
Prof. Einat Shalom-Paz is a Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Rappaport School of Medicine, Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. She is the Medical Director and Director of the IVF Program of IVF Unit, Hillel Yaffe Medical Center, Hedera, Israel. Prof. Einat Shalom-Paz is the chairman of the ethical committee of Israeli fertility society. She’s a member of the final board examiners in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility and a member in the committee opinion of AYALA, the Israeli fertility association. After completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology she underwent a Fellowship in the sub-specialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the prestigious McGill university, Montreal, Canada and graduated with excellence in her fellowship. After completing her requirements to the fellowship, she continued as a senior attending physician in the McGill clinic for 2 years until returning in Israel in 2012. Prof. Shalom-Paz is Israeli Board Certified in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the subspecialty of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility of the Royal College of Canada. Prof. Shalom-Paz presented lectures in different international and national scientific meetings and published many peer reviews papers in top rated scientific journals. She has a special interest in IVM- in vitro maturation of oocytes, poor responders, PCOS, IVF outcome, IVF treatment with minimal stimulation and egg donation program in Israel, researching and publishing in these fields.

Melissa Berton, is lifelong advocate for girls and women. She has taught English in Los Angeles for over a decade, and is the faculty advisor for Girls Learn International - a program of The Feminist Majority Foundation advocating for equal access to education across genders. Melissa has participated as a delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, leading the largest student delegation from a single high school. In 2013, following her first U.N. trip, Melissa and her students produced a documentary to raise awareness about menstrual health and education worldwide, leading to a 2019 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short, Period.
